Team I arrived in-country in April, 1989. The members of the team and Vietnamese built the "Friendship Clinic," a primary health care facility in Vung Tau before the team returned to the US. Photographs of the team's activities are shown below.
The mission of the VVRP is to promote reconciliation and healing among the peoples of the United States and Viêt Nam.
The VVRP enables U.S. veterans to return to Viêt Nam and work alongside the Vietnamese people to build health clinics and provide medical supplies.
Through these acts the VVRP is helping people from both countries--veterans and non-veterans alike --to reconcile with the Viêt Nam experience and work toward a peaceful and productive future.
